Collinsville Farmers Market

The farmers market, held every Sunday morning in the summer, is a social event in our town. Everyone shows up to pick up fresh produce, exchange gossip, or just say hello. I wanted to show the whole day's activities, which required about eight hours of shooting. I changed the filming rate in the middle of the shooting to speed up the action, then changed it back to the original rate at the end. There is no editing at all in this, it's straight from the camera. I did compress the 14 minutes of raw video to the 3 minutes you see here in Final Cut Express. I'm not sure what happened, but when I uploaded this the last few frames of the ending were cut. The music is The Chemical Brothers, "Where Do I Begin"
